Bournemouth Sands Hotel

The location in a comfortable area was good and there were a shopping centre and the Christmas market nearby. The room was well-maintained and recently refurbished with single bed, enough storage, TV, I felt comfortable there. The free parking was onsite, very good service.

The bathroom was very small.

Neat, airy room with bath, and immensely pleasant stuff. The location was marvellous and perfect, a few minutes from the beach.

This place was just a decent option for a stopover in Bournemouth with a good price-value balance. The breakfast had the best porridge I've ever had, piping hot and delicious. Consider reserving meals in advance to avoid disappointment.

We had a lovely time with the spacious room and enjoyed the live entertainment in the evenings. The kids loved the play area and we appreciated the sun terrace for relaxing. Just a heads up, the shower could get a bit crowded during peak times! 🌞

The kids loved the golden tickets for toys, and the games room was a hit! a negative encounter with another guest dampened the experience for my son.

Recommend it for family with children

The staff were kind and really went out of their way when my son had a medical issue, they showed genuine concern and provided immediate support. The kids loved the games room and got a kick out of the balloon modeller one evening. It was a total hit with them!

It wasn't exactly cheap, but I reckon it was still acceptable for the overall experience.

The hotel is in a deplorable state. The room was small and the cleanliness was unacceptable, with dust everywhere and dirty carpets. We were disappointed by the restaurant, where the breakfast service was poor and the food was served in ridiculous small portions. I'm shocked that they charge so high for such a subpar experience.

I had a good stay at Sands Hotel, enjoying its proximity to the beach and the friendly staff. The room felt snug yet comfortable, though some of the furniture showed signs of age. Breakfast offered good hearty options, perfect for a day of exploration.

Noise from evening events disrupted sleep!!! Room maintenance issues, such as peeling wallpaper and low shower pressure, suggest a need for an update!!!

The room was clean and comfy, nice bed sheets n good water pressure. Loved the location, super close to the beach and plenty of shops nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the coffee shop staff in the hotel. Had a nice relaxing time with my partner. Free parking was a big plus!

I adored munching on homemade tofu at nearby Tiien Thai Restaurant, absolute bliss! The free parking was a solid win, and the beach is just a hop away. Talk about a beach bum's paradise!
